The Payerne airport terrace is a spotters’ paradise, offering a unique vantage point over Payerne’s shared-use runway. You can observe and take photos of a variety of military and civilian aircraft from a distance of just 200 m.

Guided tours
We organise guided tours on request for groups of at least 10 visitors. Guided tours last around 45 minutes and cost CHF 10 per visitor.
During the tour, you’ll put yourself in the shoes of a businessman taking off from Payerne airport in a private jet. Discover the world of business aviation, Payerne airport’s unique collaboration with Switzerland’s main air base, and the companies that have made swiss aeropole their home.
As an option, after the visit you can enjoy refreshments with a beautiful view of the runway and continue to admire the military and civilian aircraft in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
